Little People, Big World: Zach Roloff & Tori Roloff on Raising Three Kids
Tori Roloff and Zach Roloff are parents to three children who have dwarfism. Raising three children isn’t easy. The TLC couple understands that their children are all in different development stages and require constant attention. But giving them that attention can be difficult.
The Little People, Big World cast member feels that it is hard when your first child is a boy, and you put all your time and effort into raising him, and when you have a third child who is also a boy, it isn’t possible to give him that same attention. She says she feels “so much guilt.”
Tori feels she isn’t spending enough time with their third child, Josiah.” She also thinks she isn’t taking the time to teach him how to communicate and learn as she and Zach did with Jackson.
Zach & Tori Struggle to Divide Time
Tori gets emotional when she feels she didn’t do her best job parenting. However, Zach explains that they have to be realistic about it. He explains that they only have so many hours in a day, and they have to divide them between three kids, themselves, and work.
The Little People, Big World castmate says it’s unfortunate that their son, Jackson, “gets the short pie.” He explains that his siblings, Lilah and Josiah, have needs that require more attention. So, they need to spend more time with them.
However, Zach and Tori feel that Jackson still wants their attention. Yet, they know that he is more self-sufficient than his other siblings. So, he gets less of their time.
Little People, Big World Celeb Admits Parenting Is Draining
Zach Roloff feels like parents can only handle so much. He explains that things chip away at your patience. So, he explains that something that shouldn’t have set you off does. And Tori Roloff agrees with her husband.
The Little People, Big World reality star admits that parenting at the moment has been very draining. Tori gets emotional about it because she loves being a mother. So when she has a bad week and feels like she’s not doing a good job, she finds it hard.
However, Zach knows that everyone has a hard time dividing their time up between their children. He explains that the firstborn craves the attention he knows he had at one point. He feels that the third child is searching for any attention they can get. As for the middle, he explains they are somewhere in between.
The TLC couple loves being parents and wouldn’t trade their children for anything. So, they are willing to take on the challenges of raising three children.
