Some eagle-eyed viewers also noticed that there was a hashtag that said “#Spring2025.” Many began to think it implied that they would tie the knot during that time. But he revealed in an interview how he saw Maddie as an Instagram suggestion and sent her a request. They both hit it off and began to date in December 2023. Then, in August, they got engaged.
Prior to this, Duggar News followers couldn’t help but notice how many cozy pictures the couple had put up. They began to wonder how Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar may have felt about Jason’s dating life. That’s because IBLP norms teach young people to keep things only limited to side hugs even during the engagement period.
So, it was clear that the young couple had already disregarded many norms before tying the knot. Due to this, viewers began to feel they may have broken way too many rules before their wedding. A blind item on Facebook suggested that Maddie and Jason were already pregnant with their first child, and that’s why they may have pushed the wedding date.
